PDF-T-Maker is designed as desktop solution, i.e. you can only convert the file you have just open in Word. PDF-T-Maker however can also be used for server solutions, that convert Word files passed on to the server automatically into PDF files. This is of interest for example within a network, where desktop PCs should be freed from the processor intensive task of the conversion, or where the installation of software on individual desktops should be avoided in favor of a central solution which is easier to manage and maintain.

ServPDF

<:Mustafa Görmezer has created the web based server solution ServPDF, which supports the conversion of different die die Konvertierung unterschiedlichster Microsoft Office file formats into PDF files. For the conversion of Word files, ServPDF implemented PDF-T-Maker.

We have not tested ServPDF, i.e. cannot say anything about its quality. However, we are pleased, if PDF-T-Maker is used in other projects. ServPDF is an Open Source solution and free of charge.
