Base package

The base package PDF-T-Maker.zip contains the installation routine and the following PDF-T-Maker files:

Language packages

A language package consists of:

The language file of the PDF-T-Maker user interface PDF-T-Maker_L_*.ini The manual, which is also the online help PDF-T-Maker_M_*.pdf

It may be that for a specific language only one of the two files is available, then usually the user interface language file. The language packages available are all included in the Base package at the moment, see above.

Installation

1. Download the Base package, see above.
2. Unzip the file PDF-T-Maker.zip.
   For example, move the files contained in the zip file to the folder C:\temp.
3. Start the program Setup.exe, you just unzipped.
4. Follow the instructions on the screen.
5. Start word.
   You may get a security warning regarding macros by the Univerzita Palackeho v Olomouci. PDF-T-Maker has been signed with the certificate of this university. You should trust macros from this source and activate macros, so that PDF-T-Maker can be operable.
   When Word has loaded completely, you should see the PDF-T-Maker buttons in the icon bar (up to Word 2003) or under "Add-Ins" in the menu ribbon.

Alternative installation routine using a Word file

The following installation routine using a Word file may be applied, if the standard installation routine as above fails.

Download: PDF-T-Maker — base package with Word file for installation (approximately 2…3 MByte)

Installation instructions:

1. Unzip PDF-T-Maker.zip and copy the files included there-in together with the required language files into a common directory.
2. Open the installation file PDF-T-Maker_Install.doc (provided with the base package) in Word (e.g. by double clicking it).
3. Follow the instructions on the screen.
4. Start word.
   You may get a security warning regarding macros by the Univerzita Palackeho v Olomouci. PDF-T-Maker has been signed with the certificate of this university. You should trust macros from this source and activate macros, so that PDF-T-Maker can be operable.
   When Word has loaded completely, you should see the PDF-T-Maker buttons in the icon bar (up to Word 2003) or under "Add-Ins" in the menu ribbon.

Manual installation

If all installation attempts fail, you may install manually (Word XP or higher):

1. Unpack file PDF-T-Maker.zip (see above).
2. Move all files in the folder "install" in to the folder (enter in the address field of Windows Explorer):
   Up to Windows XP: %appdata%\Microsoft\Word\STARTUP
   From Windows Vista: %appdata%\Roaming\Microsoft\Word\STARTUP
3. Start word.
   You may get a security warning regarding macros by the Univerzita Palackeho v Olomouci. PDF-T-Maker has been signed with the certificate of this university. You should trust macros from this source and activate macros, so that PDF-T-Maker can be operable.
   When Word has loaded completely, you should see the PDF-T-Maker buttons in the icon bar (up to Word 2003) or under "Add-Ins" in the menu ribbon.
